Motörhead in St. Paul!!!

We started preparing for the Motörhead concert a long time before the event.

First of all, Zhenya ordered Motörhead t-shirts:

This is Zhenya’s t-shirt with Lemmy’s quote on it. All Motörhead fans at the concert were jealous of this cool T-shirt:-))

Second, our friend Sergey, a heavy-metal fan, who lives in Switzerland, figured out for us, that Motörhead was going to meet with their fans before the concert at the Hot Topic music shop. So, on the day of the concert we arrived at the shop, waited in line and … got autographs and shook hands with all Motörhead band members!

And finally, the concert itself was superb! It was a real pleasure to listen to pure rock-n-roll – two guitarists, one drummer and minimum show-effects. This is what real rock-n-roll is!

Looks like Motörhead is not as famous in the US as in Europe and this fact gave us a rare opportunity to see Motörhead performing on a small stage. The concert took place in Myth Nightclub in St. Paul, with the audience no more than three hundred people. I don’t think it is possible to see Motörhead so close on such a small stage in Europe.

And, of course, Motörhead lived up to its reputation as the loudest rock band in the world - after the Motörhead concert I felt kind of deaf for two hours:-)
