Floranova - Macy's Spring Flower Show 2008

I didn’t really plan to post it - the show finished a month ago, so it seems a little bit late to write about it now. But the thought came to my mind: since the real spring hasn’t really started yet (we had snowstorms recently and who knows what else we’ll have soon;-)), maybe it’s not a bad idea to recall this colorful flower show now? In any case, I took a lot of pictures of flowers and I want to share them with you.

The spring flower show is held by Macy’s annually. This year the show was called “Floranova” and it brought the spirit of Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Brazil. It was the real floral fiesta!

And as a professional economist I have to give credit to Macy’s marketing service:-) The show was free for visitors, but at the same time the traffic through the Macy’s store during the days this show was held grew significantly. I bet they had a big rise in sales:-)

Anyway, it was just a pleasure to see all those gorgeous flowers!
So, enjoy:
